Observation of dispersion of light through a prism

Method
  • Take a ray box and a prism.
  • Send the narrow beam of light from a ray box or the sunlight onto the rectangular surface of the prism.
  • Project the light passing through the prism onto a wall or a screen.
  • Keep rotating the prism until a band of seven colours is created on the wall or the screen.
