Activity 10.4
Observation of the coin at the bottom of a beaker lying below the line of sight
Method
Take a steel glass, a coin and some water.
Put the beaker on a table and drop a coin into the beaker.
Shift your head in the backward direction until the coin lies outside the line of sight, that is, until it is not visible.
Keep your head still at that point and ask a friend to pour water into the beaker without disturbing the coin.
Discussion
Does the coin reappear as the level of water rises?
