Method

Form groups of 3 students.
Measure the length, breadth and height of your classroom.
Measure the length, breadth and height of each door and window.
Find the area of the classroom to be painted, excluding the doors and windows.
If 1 litre of paint covers 6 m², find how many litres are needed.
Taking the price of paint as Rs. 200 per litre, find the total cost of painting.
