Observation of the weight of stones in different media

Method
  • Prediction: In which liquid is the weight of the stone least when it is immersed in water, glycerin and cooking oil?
  • Take some water and some edible oil in two beakers.
  • Hang the stone on a spring balance.
  • Immerse the stone fully in the water and read the spring balance.
  • Then immerse the stone fully in the edible oil and read the balance again.
  • Write both readings in the table, compare them and write the result.
