Observing epithelial tissue

ObjectiveTo observe epithelial tissue
Materials
  • A piece of chicken skin
  • Forceps
  • A slide
  • A coverslip
  • Iodine
  • A microscope
Method
  • With forceps, scrape off a layer from the piece of chicken skin.
  • Place the scraped piece on a clean slide, add one drop of iodine, and cover it with the coverslip.
  • Observe the slide under the microscope.
