Method

Write down the worker's salary for the first month, Rs. 10,000.
Find the salary for each of the next four months by adding 10% of the previous month's salary.
Write the five monthly salaries as a series and call their sum \( S_5 \).
Divide each salary by the one before it to find the common ratio.
Multiply the series by the common ratio, subtract the original series, and find how much he earns in 5 months.

Discussion

How much will he earn in 5 months if his salary rises by 10% every month? Discuss the problem.
