Solid Figures Nets and Models

Quick Facts

Lesson: 5: Solid Figures
Topic: Solid Figures
Domain: Geometry

Faces, edges and vertices describe any flat-faced solid, and Euler's formula F + V - E = 2 ties the three counts together.

Study Tip

Count edges in groups by direction, never by wandering round the solid. Then check with Euler's formula: if you do not get 2, count again.
