Watch transportation happen in a white rose
Objective
To observe transportation taking place in a plant.
Materials
A branch of white rose with the flower on it, a beaker, and coloured water.
Method
Take coloured water in a beaker and stand the white rose branch, with its flower, in it. Leave it for at least half an hour and observe.
Discussion and conclusion
Did the colour of the rose change? Discuss why that happened.
