Unit 1 · Scientific Learning
Sample Practical Reports
Science & Technology · Grade 7
Learning Objectives
📄Read a finished report and name its parts
🫙Explain the science behind all three experiments
🔎Spot which parts a report has left out
“
A short report does not always use all ten parts. Knowing which ones are missing is part of reading it well.
Presenter notes: Last lesson the class learnt the ten parts of a report as a list. Today they see those parts doing real work in three finished reports. Open by asking someone to name as many of the ten parts as they can from memory, and leave the list on the board for the whole lesson, because students will keep checking against it.
