Presenter notes: Open with a small demonstration instead of a definition. Do something quick and visible at the front, such as dropping an ice cube into a glass of water, watch it with the class for a few seconds, then simply walk away from it. Ask: I just did an experiment, so what is missing? Guide them towards the answer that nobody wrote anything down, so nobody else can ever learn from it. That is the problem this whole lesson solves.
