Bearing and Scale Drawing

Quick Facts

Lesson: 10: Bearing and Scale Drawing
Topic: Bearing and Scale Drawing
Domain: Geometry

A bearing is an angle measured from north, turning clockwise, written with three figures. A scale drawing keeps every angle and shrinks every length by the same factor.

Study Tip

Draw the north line at the point you are measuring from before you touch the protractor, and draw a fresh north line at every turning point of a journey.
